CMES' Great Triumph Saves Two Persons in Water

18 July 2022 - A boat experienced difficulty off the coast of Morocco, northwestern Africa. Great Triumph, a ship operated by Hong Kong Ming Wah under CMES Shipping, immediately responded to the emergency call from the Maritime Rescue Coordination Center (MRCC) of Las Palmas, Spain, organized a rescue team and pulled two persons from the water.


As the result, the individuals safely boarded the rescue boat, the ASSA. MRCC asked Great Triumph to stay alongside the boat in distress so that all the people on board could be safely transferred.


Subsequently, Great Triumph received a notice from the ASSA, indicating the end of the rescue operation. The Captain of Great Triumph reported the rescue result to the MRCC and continued its voyage.
