2024年6月13日上午，招商轮船与江苏新时代造船有限公司（以下简称“新时代造船”）在江苏靖江举行8艘21万吨纽卡斯尔型散货船建造合同签约仪式。招商轮船总经理王永新，新时代造船董事长袁凯飞、总经理刘海金出席并见证签约。

2024年6月12日，招商轮船向招商工业订造的9300车甲醇双燃料滚装船“CMHI-293-01”开工仪式在江苏海门举行。招商轮船副总经理孙剑锋，招商工业副总经理梅中华出席开工仪式。

2024年5月28日，566辆从湘江、长江水运至上海港口出海的中国品牌出口车，搭乘招商轮船旗下招商滚装“长盛鸿”轮发往阿联酋杰贝阿里港。该批车辆“湘江—长江—远洋”三段运输均由招商滚装承接，自长沙、武汉等地由长江滚装船运至上海后中转远洋滚装船出口。

The BRITC eBL Platform of CMES Shipping has been certified by the International Group of P&I Clubs (IG P&I). Same as the traditional paper bills of loading (BLs), the electronic BLs for maritime transportation issued and circulated through the platform are also within the insurance coverage of IG P&I
