CMES holds Training Course of the "Safety Management Enhancement"

20 to 22 Februry 2023 - China Merchants Energy Shipping Co., Ltd. (CMES SHIPPING) held the First Session of the "Safety Management Enhancement" Training Course in Shenzhen. Training experts from the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) Shanghai Office were specially invited to disseminate knowledge in risk assessment and accident investigation.

Capt. Hu Degui, ABS Eastern Hemisphere Chief Auditor and senior training expert, and ABS Manager Zhu Xianming gave excellent and professional lectures based on systematic theoretical knowledge and detailed case exercises. Trainees expressed that they had learned and benefited a lot. 

The training was designated to strengthen the abilities in risk assessment and accident investigation of CMES' ship management personnel, and help them identify risk sources more deeply, find out the causes of accidents, and adopt systematic and effective preventive measures. 

All the trainees visited the History Museum of China Merchants during the training.
