China Merchants Group (CMG) visits the Faculty of Business Administration

A group of representatives from China Merchants Group (CMG) visited the Faculty on May 24.

Juniorprofessor of Maritime Economics Prof. Qing Liu invited the Managing Director of China Merchants Energy Shipping (Germany) GmbH Mr. Youquan Tan and his colleague Ms. Xin Liu as well as the Managing Director of China Merchants Industry Europe GmbH Mr. Bing Luo to discuss opportunities for research and teaching collaboration between the two groups. From the Faculty, Prof. Stefan Voß, Prof. Wolfgang Brüggemann and Prof. Guido Voigt also took part in the meeting. In the meeting, the groups discussed ongoing projects and future ideas, with a particular interest in topics like LNG shipping in Europe, emission reduction, and tracking for shipping.
